SITE PREPARATION

Gramercy provided the following site preparation measures in order to facilitate the excavation.

• Hay bales
• Truck wash station
• Truck scale
• Specialty windscreens

ASBESTOS ABATEMENT

Excavation, loading and disposal of 50,000 tons of asbestos contaminated soil. 18,000 tons of the material was disposed of off-island to a licensed facility. 32,000 tons of the material was disposed of at Islip’s local landfill.
